Strong tea and good books

“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”

Fahrenheit 451

Fahrenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury It is certainly a classic novel, one that is quite short at a little over 170 pages, but a good story about oppression and censorship. It reminded me quite a bit of Anthem by Ayn Rand. The surprise I had in reading the novel was that Montag had already been hiding books.

The author's notes on his later play, and his thoughts on the novel many decades after the fact are interesting to read as well.
