Bleachers
I enjoyed Bleachers, a different novel for Grisham in that the central focus is sport not a legal case. Being a fan of American football I am sure that is influential in my appreciation for the story and the writing. To my mind, it is just a nice reminiscing tale of high school life from the point of view of the protagonist/narrator, and his experiences with the coach. The influences for the novel are obvious but at the same time, it is still a good read.
