Perhaps my mood for reading this wasn't right, or perhaps I just could not get into it. Page 236 is where I am up to and I've left it for almost two months without having the will nor inclination to continue.I think there is a good story here, but perhaps one that needs extracting from a novel that I found difficult to maintain an interest in. I may return to this later and amend my review but for the moment, couldn't finish equals one star!
